I awoke one lovely Saturday morning to find a message from an old college buddy. A great way to start your day… but as opposed to a brief catch-up, or telling me she’d be in town, Lady X had a very different pitch.
“Hi! I hope you are doing well! I have like… the weirdest idea for a gift for my boyfriend, and you came to mind…
So, yeah, my interest was peaked. I read on…
“So… I’m sending you this super weird message that I acknowledge looks a little like a bot or strange spam message, but it’s not. It’s just me, Lady X, asking if your life is not already totally swamped if you might have an interest in creating something that is essentially A TableTop Roleplaying p**n for people who don’t play. Yes. This sounds insane. I totally get that. The full idea is more fleshed out than this, but that is essentially the crux of the idea, and if are up for a really weird convo sometimes. If you’re like – no way X, that is very cool, and say hi to Lane, please. Also, porn isn’t totally the right word – it’s more in like a foreplay area of existence…”
The stars had aligned, and I could see our interests merging. She knew a person who had roleplay, gaming, and theatrical experience willing to join our team. And thus we united: Lord and Lady X and me L.J. Longo to form The Bold and the Brazen’s Tavern of Conquest.
Fundamentally, the concepts Lady articulated in this not-at-all strange early morning message served as the spirit of our design.

It’s been a wild time, but we’ve developed the product Lady X can be happy to give her boyfriend… and in time for valentines day.
