How to Conquer Your Lover: And Have the Favor Returned 😉

Outline for do-it-yourself Conquests in our game!!

Take Care of Yourself

Alright! You’ve bought The Bold and the Brazen: Tavern of Conquests. You’ve played a few games with your partner, enjoying the fore- and role-play rolled into one. But you want to get more creative. You know your girlfriend has always had a thing for Vampires, and we don’t have a special story for that (yet). Or your boyfriend loves the Sirens. Maybe the two of you have a game you already play and want to introduce that character into the world. Whatever the reason, the steps to create your own Conquest can be found here for those who want to let their imagination run wild.

What is a Conquest?

A “Conquest” in our game is very simple. It’s an event. A happenstance. A problem in need of a solution. That’s it. There is an immediate issue that your HERO needs to fix at this moment in time. A woman needs to get home, and you accompany her. Man is chained naked to the bed; free him. These are single rolls (mostly) and are always handled quickly.

Really? Come on; it’s more than that.

Ok fine. There are a few more things to consider when making the Conquest.

PICK A HEAT LEVEL

The HEAT of a scene is a combination of difficulty and sexual explicitness. It is also where we get the name of our company. The tamest encounters are simply BOLD, while BRAZEN meetings are truly blush-worthy. A quick reminder slash breakdown.

  • BOLD: BOLD CONQUESTS contain flirtatious dialogue or references to sexual situations, but these are charged, not explicit. Very innuendo-heavy. The MUSE rolls 2d6 for the primary quality and 2d6+5 for the others. The HERO rolls 1d6 (unless they BRIBE THE MUSE), in which case they get to roll a second d6.
  • BAWDY: In BAWDY CONQUESTS, the material is sexually explicit, but the sexual activities are not directed towards the HERO. The main character is an observer, not a participant. The MUSE rolls 2d8 for the primary quality and 2d8+5 for the others. The HERO rolls 1d8 (unless they BRIBE THE MUSE), in which case they get to roll a second d8.
  • BRAZEN: In these CONQUESTS, the NPCs desperately want to have sex with the HERO. These are designed to allow the players an early end to the game and get to the fun bit. So at the end of all BRAZEN CONQUESTS, the HERO must choose either to continue on their mission or stay and engage in a debaucherous distraction. The MUSE rolls 2d12 for the primary quality and 2d12 + 5 for the others. The HERO rolls 1d12 (unless they BRIBE THE MUSE), in which case they get to roll a second d12.

Most of the game uses BAWDY within the larger quests but pick what you find fun.

Find a Subject of Desire

TAVERN OF CONQUEST is an erotically charged game, so these problems exist to

  • Show off your capable and sexy HERO.
  • Introduce seductive elements to tempt them away from the board game.

We call this element in our CONQUESTS the SUBJECT OF DESIRE. These can be a person, an erotically charged letter, a dream the HERO has, or anything else. It does not even have to be directly related to the problem the HERO is trying to solve. The SUBJECT OF DESIRE might be a spectator, distraction, villain, or surprise. As long as they make an appearance, anything goes.

What do you look for in a HERO?

There are three QUALITIES in TAVERN of CONQUESTS. Literally, in our game, these three things make a HERO. We know, we’re good.

  • STRONG: Endurance, physical power, stamina, or any
    related concept.
  • SLICK: A combination of reflexes, smooth-talking, escape artistry, magic tricks, pick-up lines, or anything else you don’t see coming.
  • SAVVY: Solving problems, knowing trivia, reading people, or casting spells are the work of a SAVVY person. Hard to fool these folks.

This is also how problems are solved. Now this can happen in two ways. For more experienced Roleplayers, the HERO simply describes what their trying to do, and the MUSE determines which QUALITY best encapsulates the plan. OR for less chatty HEROs, they simply pick the QUALITY they think best fits the situation, and the MUSE illustrates the consequences in all the spicy detail.

Either way, in this game, some problems are better suited to particular solutions. And the MUSE gets to pick. Fair? Maybe not, but that’s why you’re allowed to bribe them. If the HERO chooses the right QUALITY for the problem at hand, they roll against the base HEAT level (SEE ABOVE). If, however, they choose an unorthodox methodology, the MUSE adds a +5 to the difficulty.

In Foreplay, Everyone Wins

Remember, even if the MUSE takes the higher roll, the HERO is still successful in accomplishing their goal. The question isn’t whether they can save the cat. The HERO always saves the cat. The question is how difficult does the tree make the process. Note: I love stretching metaphors. The HERO goes forward until they run out of health, in which case (usually) a very attractive and demanding villain shows up and has their way with our poor captured protagonist.

The only similarity between the toothless witch of the modern day and this enchanting memory is the silver hair. Agatha bounces atop a knight, still armored but whose pants are vanished. She rides his impressive dick, pinching her large nipples, cackling with pleasure. Arcane letters glow painted across her thighs, heaving chest, and stomach.
SAVVYYou find Agatha writhing atop a powerful knight, the tattoo across her heaving breasts, outer thighs, and stomach. Once you copy them, you appear before the old wizard.
